Muneyi Romeo Masibigiri, known as Muneyi, Is a 24 year old independent Johannesburg-based musician, singer-songwriter.

In 2019, after working for a few months, I made a decision to follow my dreams and pursue music as a full-time career. I did this understanding that I lived in a third world developing African country as a black male with no backing from my family. I understood the implications of leaving security behind in pursuit of what I called "chasing my dreams."

I had made so much progress as an artist in terms of growth and getting bookings, etc, until Covid 19 happened. Unfortunately, even my area of qualification outside of music, which is the film and TV industry, has taken a knock and therefore I have been struggling to raise the necessary funds needed to make music so that my band and I could continue surviving in this already hostile industry.
